Henrik Törner is a passionate photographer and camera expert based in Sweden. His journey began with exploring and learning the basics, like all photographers, but soon evolved into a professional career, co-founding a picture agency in 2008 and working as a senior staff photographer. Henrik went on to establish the websites Objektivguiden in 2011 and Lensora in 2012, both of which have attracted a global audience. Through Cameraby, Henrik now helps photographers, from professionals to hobbyists, find the perfect camera and lens combinations.

Pic-Agency: Co-Founder and Coordinator
In 2008, Henrik co-founded Pic-Agency, which quickly became one of the largest sports photography agencies in Sweden, serving major newspapers and media outlets.
Role as a Photographer
As a sports photographer at Pic-Agency, Henrik covered major sporting events, including SHL (Swedish Hockey League), Hockeyallsvenskan, football World Cup qualifiers, the handball World Championship, Swedish Speedway, Floorball, Rally and more. His images frequently appeared in top Swedish newspapers like Aftonbladet and Expressen, helping them provide their readers with the intensity and excitement of sports at the highest level.
Role as a Coordinator
Henrik’s role within Pic-Ageancy extended beyond being a staff photographer. As the agency’s coordinator, he managed 60 freelance photographers, handling recruitment, technical guidance, quality control, and event planning. He also managed internal communications, ensuring that all photographers were well-equipped, motivated, and ready to cover events across Sweden.

Henrik’s passion for photography and travel has led him to some of the world’s most iconic locations, where he captures the essence of life and the beauty of landscapes through his lens.
Street Photography in New York City
Over the course of more than ten trips to New York City, Henrik has documented the vibrant energy of the streets. From the bustling crowds of Times Square to the quiet moments in Central Park, Henrik captures the city’s dynamic spirit, creating a collection of images that reflect the raw, urban beauty of the Big Apple.
Travel Photography at Mount Everest Base Camp
Henrik’s adventures have taken him to the heights of the Himalayas, as well as the wilderness of his hometown in Sweden. Trekking all the way to Mount Everest Base Camp, Henrik documented the breathtaking landscapes and the stories of climbers, sherpas, and the natural beauty of the world’s tallest peak. His photographs capture not only the majesty of the surroundings but also the perseverance and courage of those seeking to conquer Everest. A native of Kiruna, Henrik also frequently captures the rugged beauty around Kiruna and Vittangi, bringing the untamed wilderness of northern Sweden to life through his lens.
